loulourt 10 Posted September 3, 2015 I'm a newbie to this site. I've posted 1 other comment. I have just started my journey to getting the band removed and the sleeve done. I'm super nervous and excited. I'm hoping to have the surgery the first or second week of dec depending on the insurance. I have band for 5 years. I lost about 80 lbs and got pregnant twice and regained and now I sit only 25 lbs loss. I have terrible reflux and after an EGD dr found band had slipped. That's my big reason for ins approval since they only cover 1 WLS. I'm so grateful to have found a site like this. Thank you all who have shared their experiences!!!!!
