Nervous about Sleeve to RNY revision

There are various reasons for revision. Mine include a sleeve that is twisted and now distended at the top because the food is not emptying the stomach the way it should. It then backs up and caused GERD. I also lost 43lbs by 11months post op and gained that back in pregnancy. My sleeve needs to be fixed. But my dr feels revision is a better option in my case.

What were your insurance requirements ? And going from sleeve to rny did your doc say if it was a difficult procedure ?

I got sleeved 1 1/2 ago and read really want a revision I'm really not sure what to tell my doc

I had to meet all the requirements again. 3 month diet, psych eval etc. I also had to show that I followed my program post sleeve. Additionally, my surgeon did a barium swallow and EDG that should medical cause for revision. I was approved quickly and had my surgery on the 21st of Oct.
