txprincess 47 Posted October 5, 2015 Saw my surgeon today. He said to increase my Protein intake to 100+ grams. He said the extra calorie intake will be worth it. And nothing "white" should pass my lips (bread, Pasta, etc). He's also going to contact an endocrinologist and talk to him about me, see if he has any words of wisdom. Other than that, he's clueless. Here's hoping an extra shake or bar a day does the body good!

BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted October 9, 2015 I swear clean eating is not hard. It's a change but some of us simply cannot eat lots of processed foods. If you've tried everything else, why not try this? Ways I make it easy are by do weekly food prep. It takes a minute to find a rhythm, but once you get in the habit it should take no more than an hour a week to food prep. I know for me personally I saw an almost immediate difference when I cut processed foods out of my life.
