JJB 2 Posted July 8, 2007 I had a lot of my fill taken out about a month and had half ago and I have already gained about 15 pounds. I was having some problems with my neck so they took some out to see if it would help and found out the band was not the problem. Well I have an appointment to get a fill on the 20th. I have been eating everything that I had not eaten in a long time and I am gaining weight fast. This just totally backs up the fact that I can NOT do this without my band. I just hope I dont gain even more before the 20th. I cant believe I am over 200 again. I used to always have a problem staying under 300. Now I dont want to stay over 200. I am going to try really hard tomarrow to watch my portions and have no bread or high carb food. The other night I ate almost all of my 12 ounce steak that I ordered from a resteraunt. I feel so pathetic and weak. All of these emotions of saddness are coming back to me. I WILL do good from here on out. Sorry to keep going on and on. It just helps to get back up from all of you who have been there.
PaulaD 0 Posted July 8, 2007 JJB, Feel better now? Are you done beating yourself up? It's done...you know it.........now do something about it. Don't look back! It would be a boring world if we were all perfect! You said you had pain in your neck. Can you explain more? I am 7 weeks post op and have left shoulder pain almost all the time and today I can barely move my neck. We are all here to listen and help each other. Keep us informed. cyndilou29 0 Posted July 8, 2007 JJB please don't beat yourself up. Look what you've accomplished! You had a little setback but once you're filled, you'll lose it again. I think it's fairly understandable that when there is no restriction you go on a little "bender". But you will gain control again and you will lose. Hang in there.. JJB 2 Posted July 8, 2007 Thanks for the support. The neck pain just feels like there is something on the left side of my esophogus all the time. We are still trying to figure it out. But as far as shoulder pain. I get it all the time. It is my only complaint about the band. Sometimes it lasts for a few days and is very annoying. I wish I could help you with it. But I have not figured out what to do for it yet. I have noticed that the tighter my band is the more I get it. So when they took out some of my fill it did get a little better. Good luck to you.
