1 day in my pre-op liquid diet and I get the flu...ugh

Talk about timing...at about 3:30 on day one of my liquid pre-op diet, the headache hit. By 7:30, I was vomiting and other things flu related. I'm grateful that its looking like a 24 hour bug but it got me thinking...I'm having my sleeve surgery a week from today (YIKES!) and I'll be healing during flu season...I'm nervous how a new, healing sleeve would handle an ugly vomiting flu? I would have sold my soul for Excedrin Migraine...

@@Kgl24 Buy a mask and wear it! yuck! Well hopefully you will feel better soon, On the plus side it does help you lose weight ha!

@@Elode I work at a hospital so it's like working in a giant petri dish. On the flip side, I've lost 7 pounds since Monday...not ready to congratulate the flu but I'm not so angry at it anymore.
