shriner37 249 Posted September 1, 2015 Very easy procedure. They took vitals and started an IV in the prep area. The nurse gave me the first of the meds as they were wheeling me out of the holding area into the procedure room. I remember being in the procedure room for about 30 seconds and the next memory is waking up in the holding area again. The procedure was so quick my clinic didn't even have you change out of street clothes. No after effects except for some residual sluggishness from the versed and fentanyl. Went home and took a couple hour nap and was fine.

SunflowerGal 30 Posted September 2, 2015 I did mine along with my colonoscopy! Two for the price of one. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy anyway! Was sedated and it was done before I new it!! Me too! It was scheduled before I even thought of WLS. I breathed into a tube, was out within seconds, and then awake again before I knew it. No complications. I arrived at 9:00 am and left not more than 2 hours later. Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine!
