cantseemytoes 49 Posted August 31, 2015 I'm just about 3 months out and I've gone down from size 26/28 to 20/22. I've decided that it's time to get rid of some of my clothing, but I'm not sure I want to take it to the Goodwill. I've been there in an attempt to find transition wear and I haven't really had much luck, so donating it would be helpful to anyone like me, who needs transition clothes after surgery. But I also hate for someone to have to pay for clothing that I'm no longer using so..... If anyone lives in the Inland Empire and needs clothing in sizes 24-28, it's yours. I've already donated some, but I have, you can have for free. Contact me and we can set something up.
OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted August 31, 2015 I always make a point of donating my clothes to goodwill since they rarely have larger sizes, but the majority of women are larger sized. I feel it is important to donate clothes so that people who are financially challenged have access to them.
wantingabetterlife 364 Posted August 31, 2015 Post it in the Clothing and Goods Exchange forum. I found someone locally and gave her a ton of clothes that were too big for me. Someone will appreciate it!
cantseemytoes 49 Posted September 1, 2015 I usually donate everything from kids clothes to furniture, but I thought I'd try something different this time.

At the top of the page, go to Forums, General Weight Loss Surgery Forums, Clothing and Goods Exchange. I am not sure if you can see the tabs at the top from phone or not. I use my computer! Hope this helps! Edited September 2, 2015 by wantingabetterlife
ReesieSleeve 15 Posted September 2, 2015 I am donating my clothes to a non profit company in Orange County called Human Options. I have given my kids clothes to them as well. They are an agency devoted to helping domestic violence victims.
