_Kate_ 2,224 Posted August 31, 2015 Is it normal to be cranky, snappy, meloncholy and have no filter as to what you say, around about week 6. Please tell me, a usual upbeat happy, glass half full type of person that its normal and will end soon
Soozern 75 Posted August 31, 2015 Cranky snappy and no filter sounds perfectly normal to me, but don't much like the sound of melancholy. Maybe you are tired? Whatever it is I hope it passes soon xxx
_Kate_ 2,224 Posted August 31, 2015 Thanks Soodoo ... just not my usual self. Will just have to do more shopping!
Mountaingal 322 Posted August 31, 2015 Big changes in life tend to cause reactions like those you mentioned. If shopping makes you happy go for it. These feelings should pass in time. Looks like you are enjoying good weight loss.
joatsaint 2,814 Posted August 31, 2015 That was me too. I was mad at the world for no particular reason, then I'd switch to being depressed. It took a month or so for my emotions to return to normal.
Soozern 75 Posted August 31, 2015 It would help if it would stop bloody raining!

Thank you joatsaint.. Just how I am feeling. I dropped something last night, shouted like it was the end of the world then cried. I am cracking up.

_Kate_ 2,224 Posted August 31, 2015 I do take HRT Patches, had to stop 8 weeks before surgery and I am due to start again on Thursday, hubby just mentioned maybe its that. Does anyone have experience of stoping before then restarting HRT after surgery?
slvarltx 332 Posted August 31, 2015 I was very snappy and irritable until about week 8 I think. For me, I think it was the fatigue of healing while living a normal life. Everything started get back to normal after about 2 months.
