Funny you mention that....

On another bariatric site I kind of stalk, but don't really interact in, they have a "What are you wearing today?" Thread that's been going on for over a year because several members will post pictures daily what they are wearing, size, where they bought it from, etc....we may have to start something like that![/quote

That sounds amazing! Should def get that going! I mean I wear scrubs almost everyday but love seeing what others wear!!! Great idea!

I do love the leggings you are wearing! How fun!

Hey leggings and jeggings are my new best friend and I love them. I don't care a hoot what people think I should or should not be wearing I've worked hard to look this good in them and I will rock them if I want to, you look great and hope when I'm as close to goal as you are I look just as great!

I have to say I always enjoyed leggings and spandex pants. Leggings with leg warmers..............I rock it. LOL

My husband says he LOVES me in leggings. Since gaining weight I find that they are very hard to get up and if I can get them up then they roll down under the HUGE pile of fat that has taken up residency near my mid section. Sometimes it takes over an hour to get that roll out!

Another love is Yoga pants, I have several pair of them too.

My husband will continue to buy and I know I appreciate it, however I can't wait to put them on without hearing Rippppppppppp.

With my new body coming, I will be able to wear all these enticing clothes and love it.

I have a question......What could be better than wearing leggings, tights or yoga pants and twerking?

You know the big girls can twerk.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
