newbie_2025 4 Posted August 29, 2015 So I am almost two weeks post op and it has definitely been an experience. I am getting crazy head hunger and going through a lot of emotions . Anyways one thing that I have been noticing is that I feel tired all the time although I haven't been really active . I mean I have been doing my walking and keeping up with my fluids but after an hour or two of activities ( running errands and etc) I feel worn out and just want to lay down. Despite my weight I have always been an active person . I am one of those people who have a million things going on at once. Am I expecting to much from my body to soon? Has anyone experience fatigue and if so how long till you fully get your energy back up ?
Madtownsunshine17 42 Posted August 29, 2015 Hey! You're not alone. I'm 3 wks post-op and I'm feeling it too! My goals right now are Water, Protein, Vitamins and a good sleep schedule. I'm hoping it will help. We have to remember we went through a MAJOR surgery.

rnwrny 15 Posted August 29, 2015 (edited) I felt that way for the first 3 to 4 weeks. I took a nap pretty much daily the first 3 weeks definitely. I went back to work at 4 weeks post op and it was a bit of a challenge at times. Now I am 2.5 months out and feel normal as far as energy level goes. WorkinOnMe 596 Posted August 30, 2015 The first two weeks were the worst for me, but then my energy started to return & I have felt great since then. Take it easy and do what you can without pushing too hard. You'll start feeling better soon!
