shelleylester 28 Posted August 29, 2015 Ok so i have been drinking fat free or skim milk since surgery. I just realized it has 12g sugar per serving. Ugh. Doesn't make me sick but my weight loss has slowed down. What do you all drink?
Daisee68 2,493 Posted August 29, 2015 Have you tried Fairlife Milk? It is lower in sugar. That might be an option.
Faithoftheheart 42 Posted August 29, 2015 Unsweetened almond milk... 0 grams of sugar and 30 calories per serving.. More Calcium than milk..
esskay77 785 Posted August 29, 2015 Oh! It never occurred to me to read the label on fat free milk!! I don't drink milk but I use it when making scrambled eggs every morning and in a few other recipes. I drink mostly Water. But some days I just get sick of Water. Crystal light is a good option for me. Have you looked into any of the almond milks or soy milks? Do they have fat free options? I wonder what their sugar content is. lauraellen80 855 Posted August 29, 2015 I second the recommendation for Fairlife milk. It's ultra-filtered to have fewer carbs/less sugar and more Protein.< /p> I second the recommendation for Fairlife milk. It's ultra-filtered to have fewer carbs/less sugar and more protein. peaceout 273 Posted August 29, 2015 Another vote for Fairlife! It's got more Protein and less sugar than traditional skim milk. Of course it's going to have some sugar- all dairy products do. I do prefer it over almond or coconut milk at this point because I usually need those 13g of Protein to put me into the desired range.

lauraellen80 855 Posted August 30, 2015 Fairlife's marketing team is really missing an opportunity... we should all be in a commercial!
Pinkpeonies1 87 Posted August 30, 2015 I like almond milk but prefer the taste of Fairlife.
jess9395 5,449 Posted August 30, 2015 Fair life all the way for me (Lucerne Protein Plus is the same product by a different company). My problem with the almond, cashew, etc milks is the Protein is negligible.
shelleylester 28 Posted August 30, 2015 Just tried Fairlife and lovebit. Thanks so much for saving my milk addiction.
