Does anyone know what causes it? How long would it last? Could be acid reflux. Did u leave the hospital with a script?
shellyd88 463 Posted September 5, 2015 Hi lealor what's not working did u try the omeprazole ? If one isn't doing it try 2 Take it at the same time every day Are you drinking like orange juice or anything like that cuz that might really hurt I also had trouble sleeping after the first week or two for a couple months I was wide awake at 2 am being up from 6 am my dr gave me some sleeping pills she said it's likely just a temporary change I took them for a few weeks I'm not taking them now once I went back to work full on I got tired again I do lots of walking on my job I know it can really be a struggle the first few weeks it can be discouraging but it does get better do u have a dr u can go to that is experienced with bariatrics? Also were you given a leak test before u left hospital? If u have or get a fever go to ER asap

ElideC 1 Posted September 5, 2015 had my surgery August 25 feel like I'm able to do normal stuff now , weird Shoulder pain though
laura4923 137 Posted September 5, 2015 Shoulder pain can be referred pain. My left shoulder was really bothering me and once my drain was removed, the pain was gone immediately. My surgeon said it was referred pain from the drain.

ctgafford 4 Posted September 6, 2015 Hi I had my surgery on August 26th and lost 10lbs so far. I am not feeling any pain except when I eat my Protein meals which are mainly scrambled eggs or tuna with mayo I love the strawberry Protein shakes..my heart beats faster after I eat not sure why...maybe my body is working too hard to digest. I go back to work next week. My heart beats faster too! I just noticed that yesterday.
byebyedarkpassenger 203 Posted September 6, 2015 My heart beats not so much faster but harder. I think it's mostly when my body thinks it's time to eat because after I "eat" (4 oz Protein shake) the heart calms down. Do any of you have the same experience? Sherri1964 7 Posted September 12, 2015 I was sleeved Aug 27, the first two days was rough for me, but doing well now. I am just so tired of eating Soup, and massed potatoes, I am so mentally ready for a bigger variety of food.
KathyRS 29 Posted September 12, 2015 I'm still having pain. It's mostly just soreness around one incision, and not a big deal, until today when without thinking, I sat straight up in bed using my ab muscles. I got intense pain around the spot that's sore, like shooting spider legs of pain. Youch! I wish the surgery related stuff would heal quicker. I was sleeved on Aug 25, I went back to work part time exactly one week later, and Monday start full time. I'm reading all kinds of people who are saying the surgery is nothing, but that's not my experience. I'm actually experiencing what I expected, but it isn't as great as a lot of people I read about. What about you other August 25 people? Anyone else experience this?
chardon27 11 Posted September 12, 2015 I take prescription strength Omeprazole 40 mg that was the only thing that helped otc... Was a crock.... See your dr.
