Licia2210 11 Posted September 15, 2015 That sounds rough. I would hate for it all to be for nothing. I hope you at least start losing weight soon.

rgr26 24 Posted September 15, 2015 I only regret that I waited so long to do it. Had I known I would be feeling this great I would have done it years ago.
rgr26 24 Posted September 22, 2015 Yes be ready for mood swings. The first couple of months I had horrible mood swings. There were some days where I just wanted to stab someone if they even just looked at me wrong. LOL I read is because fat stores hormones and as you lose the fat it releases all those hormones into your system. I'm about four months out and finally this fourth month it seems like everything has finally leveled out and I've been in a fabulous mood.
Mom26 313 Posted September 22, 2015 I would have not procrastinated getting my Endoscopy thinking I was great since no pain. Ummmm full of ulcers. Surgery postponed until who knows the hell when. I'm kicking myself -- I could have been healed from the ulcers months ago and on the table this Thursday.
desertgirl_74 114 Posted September 23, 2015 I regret not doing this when I was 280. Instead I waited until I was 380 and felt like there was no other option. I wasted 10 yrs thinking I could get a handle on things on my own.
_telia_ 10 Posted September 23, 2015 There is a chance you will start your period after surgery or once you get home. From what I've been told from my surgeon and from stories on here, it's super common.

I wasted 10 yrs thinking I could get a handle on things on my own. I'm starting to feel this way and have just started my process. I just picked my surgeon but Now I am wishing i did it 6 or 7 years ago instead if waiting until I was 360. I just always thought I could do it on my own too. There is a chance you will start your period after surgery or once you get home. From what I've been told from my surgeon and from stories on here, it's super common. Good to know! Never even thought about that.
