kyboo1972 90 Posted February 11, 2016 I'm seeing Dr. Wheeler. Just had my endoscopy yesterday...my first visit with nutritionist is tomorrow....have to do 6 months of visits before my insurance will give final approval. I'm sure it will go fast....I've done all my bloodwork but the thiamine one....next is stress test. Passing my time with doctor appointments... I also have to lose 50 lbs before Dr wheeler will do surgery because my bmi is over 65.
perk4756 259 Posted February 12, 2016 You can do it! I had the 6 months too. It seems like a lifetime but passes quicker than you think. I hated the idea of waiting but I learned so much! I graduated with Tim Wheeler so I didn't go to him. He's good too I hear!
MollyF22 62 Posted February 12, 2016 Dr. Thompkins is doing mine. Are you going through UC perks? And kyboo, the 6 months will go by so fast. I've been doing this for almost 11 months now. I started on March 30th. I did 9 months. It went by pretty fast. It gives you time to see what we all go through and see everyone's experiences.

perk4756 259 Posted February 12, 2016 No idk what UC is. What's worrying me now is I'm almost my gw and barely can eat or hold anything down still. I sure don't wanna go much smaller than 130. I look sickly at a smaller weight. But I'm sure it will be ok

MollyF22 62 Posted February 13, 2016 Hi every one! I has my surgery done around 11am yesterday. It's been tough and it's getting better but it's definitely taking a toll. The pain is like doing a million sit ups on my left side. I've been dry heaving. Waiting to do leak test. If that's okay then going home.
