staceymeaux 90 Posted August 27, 2015 Was sleeved yesterday at 2pm. So far so good. I have some abdominal pain and nausea, but it is all manageable so far. I have been getting up to walk around every few hours. How are other August 25thers doing!

byebyedarkpassenger 203 Posted August 28, 2015 Home, feeling like a million bucks... But run out of energy very quickly. My shower today really did me in! I'm feeling great, though. The nausea and vomiting from day 1 are gone, am off all pain meds, drinking my tiny sips like I was told, and really happy to be doing so well. I was able to walk 1 mile (in small increments) the day after surgery so I'm sure that helped with the gas and other nasty side effects. I'm hoping all our 8/25 "sleeve twins" are doing as well as or better than me!
ShannonTatum 7 Posted August 28, 2015 8/25 sleever here and I'm feeling decent. I've been walking a lot, but tend to get crabby at the end of the day. Glad you're doing well!

TCaruso70 1 Posted August 29, 2015 I had my surgery 8/27. The gas and nausea were the most painful so far. After I got meds for gas , I got the dry heaves- not fun. Since I have been home, I have not taken any meds. I don't feel too bad. Not having any problems walking or sleeping. Also I am afraid to swallow any meds - the thought of it makes me cringe. So far my doctor is only allowing Clear Liquids. So I will keep plugging away.
del112 62 Posted August 30, 2015 Hi everyone, so motivating. I was sleeved on 26 August and remained an extra night in hospital due to fever. I am home now and I sleep a lot . Just sleeping around the clock, in between trying to stay hydrated!which has been a very slow process. I thank God because I met a lady one month post op whose stomach refused to work. Met her in hospital and left her there. God has been good to me.
