Gaelsmom 100 Posted August 26, 2015 I'm two weeks post-op. I had egg drop Soup for the first time. All other Soups I can drink 3/4 cup to a cup. But last night, I actually put away two cups of egg drop Soup with no pain. This morning, my ankles are swollen, my hands are stiff and I feel off. Is it normal to put away so much soup and is the sodium most likely causing this morning's aches and swelling?
jane13 2,256 Posted August 26, 2015 @@Gaelsmom - IMO Soup is a "slider" and you can probably "drink" two cups of Water as well as eat two cups of soup. Watch the calories, carbs and sodium. I would say the swelling ankles are due to the salt. Water, water, water, walk, walk, walk......
