Astrosgirl 96 Posted August 26, 2015 Curious if anyone had to have a biopsy during their EGD? Just had mine done this morning, super early and I was super nervous but dr Peterson made me feel like I was in good hands so I received my special cocktail and went right to sleep. When I woke up I was back in the recovery space like I never left and really not feeling bad at all.. Not even a sore throat! The nurse discharging me mentioned that the dr had to do a biopsy during the exam as they found "something" and I was to call his office tomorrow to schedule an appointment for the results in about 7 days. It's the something that worries me and now I must wait 7 days to find out what that something was.. Anyone else have this experience?? Astrosgirl 96 Posted August 27, 2015 Thanks guys! This is reassuring. I called the office and the nurse said they would call when the results came in and she didn't sound very worried. This is probably routine and all will be fine. - on a brighter note, I got the psych appt scheduled for next week, nutritionist for the 8th and that will be my last requirement in order to submit for insurance approval!
