Trayjay33 138 Posted August 23, 2015 My teeth are now sensitive since the surgery is this normal as I have not seen anyone else mention it? It happened to me as well. I know everything cannot be attributed to surgery but I couldn't count that as coincidence. I live in the northeast and my mouth was so painful during the past Winter. I cannot have more than 2 ice pops at a time or it's painful. I mentioned it my Dentist and they more thought it was reflux related and wearing on the enamel. I would be interested in what others have to say.

Dream4tc 192 Posted August 31, 2015 Try using sensodyne toothpaste. That will help until you get talk to your dentist or physician.

SnOwCrAsHeD 56 Posted November 15, 2015 My teeth are super sensitive. Can't do cold or hot anymore. I'm down 60+ lbs. No one ever told me about this. My dentist is at a loss too. I take all the supplements also. Have my 6 month with my surgeon next week and just did all my labs for him to review.
JenniferP1 75 Posted June 14, 2016 Ughhhhhh! I have always had horribly sensitive teeth -- and since getting sleeved last November the sensitivity is worse them ever! I'm already a lie-long Sensodyne user -- not sure what else I can do?
NeedaBreak4Me 1,755 Posted June 14, 2016 It makes me wonder if this has anything to do with the hormone dump associated with weight loss.. You know how pregnant women gets sensitive teeth due to hormone changes, i wonder if this is the case with weight loss hormone changes. Hmm might be something ill ask my surgeon about next time i go in
