krystalgenie 2 Posted August 23, 2015 I had sleeve surgery Tuesday. I've been doing good on post-op instructions. Today I woke up with a dull pain under my left breast. I had my gall bladder removed a few years prior to surgery. Any thoughts on what could be causing this pain? Otherwise, I'm doing great. Thank you in advance for your help! Daisee68 2,493 Posted August 23, 2015 It could just be gas. Try some gas-X and see if it goes away.
Mini_me007 121 Posted August 23, 2015 I'm sorry you're having pain. I had the same pain in the exact same spot. For me, it was gas. It felt like I had a bubble up under my ribcage and made it hurt to breathe. Gas-X might help, but walking is what helped me most with gas. Good luck! krystalgenie 2 Posted August 23, 2015 Thank you! I think you all were right. Gas-x helped and I'm on the treadmill now. I appreciate the advice.

krystalgenie 2 Posted August 25, 2015 So, the pain subsided last time I was on here but it's back. It's a dull pain, but enough for me to question it. Your stomach is under your right breast, is it normal to have pain in the stomach for 7 days? It is a stomach surgery and all, but I'm wondering if I should be worried about it lasting so long. Robin1023 0 Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) I have a weird question...when I woke up from surgery on March 7, I had a sharp pain on the outside of my left breast when ever I would stand or walk. Since then it has lessened but is still there like dull throbbing. It doesn't bother me if I have on a bra but as soon as I take it off, the pain starts. It is a constant dull ache in my breast. Has anyone experienced this? There is no bruising on the outside. I thought maybe it had something to do with the position I was in during surgery or maybe something was pinching me. No external marks though. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App Edited April 2, 2016 by Robin1023
