reneeig 1 Posted August 21, 2015 I have never written before, but have read through many of the posts. I was banded on July 21st and weight loss has been elusive. I lost about 15 lbs on the liver shrinking diet and then nothing until last week. Last week I lost 7 lbs, but this week the scale is either slowly going up or staying the same. I usually have a Protein shake for Breakfast and a Protein Bar for lunch and then try some type of meat for dinner. I had my first fill last week of 3 cc's. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but I feel like something isn't working. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!
CTJohn 109 Posted August 21, 2015 You're not doing anything wrong, most likely. For me, the band didn't kick in until month four. I was complaining to Dr that felt that I was just on a diet. He said, just be patient. He was right Hang in there. It's slow in the beginning. Your band doesn't have much juice yet

Bandista 7,466 Posted August 22, 2015 Hi there @@reneeig, my weight loss was similar to yours -- nothing, nothing then whammo, seven pounds down, two up, nothing, nothing then boom, another chunk. It helped me to stop focusing on the scale and pay attention to the way my jeans were fitting. Or not fitting -- it was JOY JOY JOY to go from 20 to 18 to 16 to 14, etc. Pat yourself on the back for choosing to get healthy. It's happening!
reneeig 1 Posted August 22, 2015 Thanks everyone for the encouraging words. It always helps to hear from people who have been there done that ????
