First days of eating soft foods question

started my soft food today had scramble egg for Breakfast took 20mins to eat 1/2 started cramping for lunch 2oz tunda salad took 30mins started to cramp about 20 mins later is this normal on your first day of soft food

I can't stand Protein Shakes. That's all I had prior to surgery. I've been adding a tablespoon of Protein Powder to my other food, adding extra Water, and mixing it in. This my own "recipe" and I like it soooo much more than trying to drink 8 oz shake on top of food and water.

You have room to eat more without "messing it up"! If you don't go over 1/4 cup until recommended by your surgeon, you'll be great! Be patient and trust yourself. You have a great tool and lots of great advice in this thread. We all eat different amounts on different days.
