deew57 11 Posted January 21, 2016 I am the Practice Manager for a very busy Internal Medicine clinic. My hopes are that after my surgery I will have a better handle on my organization skills....LOL! I put it off for a couple of years, but now it is time for 'me'....

CurvyCooper 26 Posted January 24, 2016 Correctional Nurse - The correlation is weird. I was in corrections for 17 yrs myself, tough job. How'd you get out of it?! I've been in five, going on six years, and I feel like this is where I am going to stay even if I get tired of it!

I've been in five, going on six years, and I feel like this is where I am going to stay even if I get tired of it! I finally just had enough, the politics were eating me up. I started putting in for other jobs I was interested in. I got a job with a wonderful pipeline company and I have never looked back. I love my job now, only regret is that I waited so long. It does trap you, I thought I was doomed. My parents both retired from corrections, one was a warden and one a major. My younger brother is a pharmacist in corrections. Just start looking for something you may be interested in and put in resumes. It may take a bit but eventually it will happen.
