CANDI254 31 Posted August 14, 2015 (edited) I am 7 weeks post op and I haven't met my Protein requirement any out of those 7 weeks. I was really sick until this week so am just now being able to take my Vitamins but Protein drinks are still not something I can keep down. I have tried many different ones. Anyone else having this issue or any ideas? Edited August 14, 2015 by CANDI254

Elode 8,093 Posted August 14, 2015 @@CANDI254 I've never had one that taste good - have you tried the Isopure ready made clear Protein Drinks? They have 40 grams per bottle.
CANDI254 31 Posted August 14, 2015 No thats the first ive heard of them. Just called a healthfood store where I live and they have green apple. I will go try one for lunch. Hopefully ill be able to drink it. Thanks.
lmhelmick 79 Posted August 14, 2015 Personally I prefer the grape iso pure. Also nature's best makes a Dutch chocolate protien powder. 50 grams per 2 scoops. It's think and not too chalky. Best Protein shake I've had!
CANDI254 31 Posted August 14, 2015 The powders no matter how much Water or milk I add seem to be to thick and come right back up. Green apple is the only choice I hav. I actually do not like green apple and would love to find grape.

kmd0235 38 Posted August 14, 2015 Have you tried GENEPRO? I mix it with iced tea. It's not thick and it actually dissolves.
JamieLogical 8,727 Posted August 14, 2015 I'd steer clear of the "protein shots". The type of Protein in them is not high quality and is not well absorbed.
