Essence46 493 Posted August 13, 2015 I am running 3 to 4 days a week. The bad news is... my knees are killing me. My good bad knee even hurts now. This knee struggle is real!! Ugh!! And the scale is broken (Yes broken LOL) because it's not moving!! *sigh*

OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted August 13, 2015 Why not swim or use the elliptical if running is tearing your knees up.
Essence46 493 Posted August 13, 2015 I may have to start doing this. I usually try to stay outside in the summer and inside in the winter. Will have to make the change earlier. Why not swim or use the elliptical if running is tearing your knees up.
TammyDTM 391 Posted August 13, 2015 Give your body a rest! Just take a few days off. You may even see the scale move. I also have bad knees and when they talk, I listen! On those days I just work my upper body. Epsom salts and Aspercream are my best friends!

VSGAnn2014 12,992 Posted August 13, 2015 Oh boy. How old do you have to get before you realize that when your body hurts there's something wrong? And that it's probably not going to get better until you stop hurting it. Stop running. Do something different. See a rehab specialist, an orthopedist, anyone who doesn't think the way to fix something is to hurt it some more. (Not being snarky -- just want you to stop hurting yourself!)
