I do agree with gb, mouth hugs can make a man forget, maybe forgive a lot! However, I do think if he is a keeper, you should be able to be open. I know you don't think so now but, as your body changes, you will feel more sexy and probably more sexually open so, you should feel totally comfortable with the person who will experience your sexual Renaissance! Lol you may be underestimaging this dude, he may be totally on board. If not, you really need to know that now, don't waste anymore time on toxic crap that will hold you back, this journey is all about moving on and up

! You need to just throw it out there , the worst that could happen is he turns out to be an non supportive ass hat! In Wich case, he'll be doing you a favor by showing his true colors, if not...get makin with the love! Lol

Both my husband and I did surgery together and on same day. We are 3 weeks post op. He was roaring to go by end of week 1. I however had a setback but 2 1/2 weeks in I was roaring. But we had no restrictions. Just listen to your body.

Also, communication is a big part of relationship and honesty. You should tell your partner.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
