3 months Post-op & Seeing Progress

Yesterday was my 3 month surgery anniversary. Overall I'm happy with the results so far - down 55 lbs and 2-3 sizes. ???? The scale tells me I've lost weight, and so do my clothes, but when I look in the mirror I still see the same old, pre-op me most of the time. Weird.

I had the same observation. I suspect that the reason why is that whenever I looked at myself in the mirror before surgery, I never really looked at myself. Since I always took the photographs in the family, I was never or rarely in them. That is why a before photograph is very important, so that you can compare it with an after photograph to truly see the results of the surgery. You look fantastic and you can certainly see the difference already. It takes time for your brain to catch up with your body.
