jane13 2,256 Posted August 13, 2015 are you asking about body shapers in general?@@Kissifur
jallen1231 59 Posted August 13, 2015 Body shapers can cause you to have leakage after a sleeve. Would not recommend. Learned this from a lady in a support group who bought a waist trainer and is now in serious condition in hospital.
jhclikesshopping@gmail.com 285 Posted August 13, 2015 Wow - did not hear about the body shaper. I am using tight undershirts and leggings. I think this and my weight training is keeping my skin tight. But... I am still only 1/2 way to goal. Have more to lose
1SlimmerMe 122 Posted August 14, 2015 My surgeon said it was ok to wear a light shaper. I wear a Spanx to work everyday. I made sure I asked if it was ok. I do make sure it's not too restrictive and it surely not as tight as a waist trainer. It helps with the wiggles, until my skin tightens up.
Mandyctr 75 Posted August 14, 2015 Love the. Wear them all the time. Just make sure you get one that goes all the way to your breasts. It reduces back rolls and roll downs. And I wear my underwear under them so they stay cleaner and it's more comfortable against my skin. Also, I'd ask whoever said it caused them sleeve leakage if that's what the dr said, or if that's what she assumes. Just to be clear, I really don't know, but that sounds awfully strange. anahajara 16 Posted August 14, 2015 I had an abdominal binder from my surgeon right after surgery.
Shustar 395 Posted August 14, 2015 Waist shapers are an entirely different and extreme deal! They are cinched as tight as one can stand them and could cause serious problems. Shapers are supportive and not extreme. I love my "slip" shapers. They really get rid of rolls and bulges and make me feel wonderful!
