C section in my opinion

I didn't have a C section, but I did have a hysterectomy. And, for me personally, the post surgery pain was worse for the sleeve. I had a severe reaction to the morphine, so I was only in IV Tylenol. And post surgery, I didn't take the Percocet and just stayed on Tylenol. On the plus side, my Dr. cleared me to drive much earlier than if I had taken the narcotics.

My sleeve was my 12th surgery, and frankly the easiest and least painful. The big factor here is how your surgeon handles pain management and whether or not they extract the CO2 before they close you up. The worst was the knee replacement.

C section by far was worse. The sleeve felt like I did 100 crunches. The nausea I had post op was worse than pain. I have no pain tolerance either. I took one Percocet once when I got home that's all.

@@mimorison I asked that same question, I had 3 c-section and I was told they were way worse, ummm NO! I'm not going to lie my sleeve surgery hurt! It hurt when I woke up but the recovery nurse gave me something so I would stop cussing about how people told me it wouldn't hurt . That pain med made it much better. Getting up and down hurt. I was on a morphine pump and stayed in the hospital 2 days. Day 3-5 (home) were the worst. I finally called my surgeon because I couldn't take it anymore and he upped my pain pill to a much stronger narcotic. After that I was much better. I had a JP drain that caused me some of the pain so I ended up pulling it out myself that made me fell 100x better! Don't let this freak you out because a lot of people say it's not bad. I don't know why mine hurt so bad. I didn't have gas or any of that stuff. It just did. I'm only telling you my experience, the important thing is it's over, I'm down 100lbs and would do it all over agian if I had to. Pain is just a part of any surgery, they did stab me in the stomach 5 times so it's not going to be painless. All in all its over and that's all that matters!

Omg that JP drain hurted soooo bad and it was uncomfortable they wanted to send me home with it and I was like helllll nooooo and when they pulled it out I wanted to punch the nurse def my first 4 days were really painfull and I have lots of gas and bloating and have my period really bad cramps so it sucks but now I feel much better six days pos-op and no regrets!!!!!
