ridingrae 61 Posted August 11, 2015 Hi, I don't eat the 1,000 minimum calorie requirements and it doesn't let you add an entry if you don't. Any tips for this? Do you use the exercise part to log even though it adds an excessive amount of calories? Any other helpful hints? Thanks!
samelton68 64 Posted August 11, 2015 some days I don't consume 1000 calories, but myfitnesspal doesn't prevent me from using it.
wantingabetterlife 364 Posted August 11, 2015 Just don't worry about clicking the "add entry" button. At midnight, your day closes and moves to the next. Even when I do 1000, it won't let me close it because I didn't reach their minimum recommended.
padremama 101 Posted August 11, 2015 It let me add the entry but says something like "you are not getting enough calories in". If I do 1000 calories it tells me at what rate I will lose weight.
Nyelaah 77 Posted August 11, 2015 (edited) You can change your calorie, Protein, etc from whatever it has it at to your goals Edited August 11, 2015 by Nyelaah
Bufflehead 6,358 Posted August 11, 2015 Use the quick adds tool and add in however many calories you need to go over 1000. Close your diary for the day. Then go back in and subtract the quick added calories out.
TammyDTM 391 Posted August 11, 2015 I just close out my day myself by posting my calorie and Protein count on the front page with the date. For example: 860 -- 88 >> 8/6/15. And I hit the share button. MFP is my personal food journal so it doesn't matter how many calories they recommend. The stats are for me.
