Spadin 0 Posted August 11, 2015 I just started soft foodsI'm sticking with the Dr's plan and I'm worried. I started at a lower weight and my surgery was a revision from the lap band. and two days of it and I've gained 4 lbs. Is this normal?
ShrinkingPeach 1,291 Posted August 11, 2015 (edited) How far post-op are you? The gain could be from swelling, adjustments to your diet etc. Could also be from adjustments to your medications. Edited August 11, 2015 by ShrinkingPeach
Spadin 0 Posted August 11, 2015 Shrinking peach, its been 3 weeks tomorrow. I'm counting calories and Protein. And its about 750 to 850 calls a day and 60 grams of protein. Is it just because I'm now on soft foods?
hockeyfan7 249 Posted August 12, 2015 What kinds of things are you eating? I find if I even look at a carb that doesn't come from veggies or fruit the scale jumps up a couple of pounds. As soon as I cut them out it goes right back down.
Spadin 0 Posted August 12, 2015 Hockeyfan, I started a food journal today to see what exactly I'm eating. I hope it helps and I get back on track. I had such a bad experience with my lapband for 5 years that I am so worried about this surgery and how I progress. Thank you for the responses!
