hangy 1 Posted August 11, 2015 I'm 2.5 weeks post op and I'm dying to have salmon. I'm supposed to have it at 4 weeks. Have any of you had it this early on?

ValerieDee1975 55 Posted August 11, 2015 I actually tried salmon at about 2.5/3 weeks and I did fine...if you are feeling adventurous, try a tiny bite and wait a minute to see how you feel...you will know soon if it's too early or not...gotta work with your body, some people are ready earlier than others...I was.....if you are a stickler for rules, ask your nutritionist if it's ok to try. Yes, we get all these lists and rules before hand, but also each person is different and heal at different rates, tummies like/dislike things at different rates, etc. In the end you are accountable to yourself Good luck and if you try it, let us know how it goes.
