Daveo 485 Posted August 9, 2015 Happens to me all the time now, only thing that seems to make me feel full is red meat. But eating that feels like a brick in my stomach.

ShrinkingPeach 1,291 Posted August 9, 2015 Sometimes after eating I get what you would think is a feeling of hunger but it is really thirst from the sodium in the food. I try to drink first when I feel hungry and the "hunger" is always a false alarm. I am 3 months out and still don't get hungry.
ajcarl 18 Posted August 9, 2015 3 hr is a long time after as little as you ate. Not a big deal or unusual but probably head hunger. You'll get where you can tell the difference. You are worrying not eating a lot at all
dsheive 100 Posted August 10, 2015 Well I have lost 17 pounds since (7/22) thought it should be more don't know if I'm eating to much or not enough. Sure would be nice to have a tummy window so I could SEE if I'm full.

LipstickLady 25,682 Posted August 10, 2015 I am over two years out and I eat every 2-3 hours. I can't eat more than 2-3 ounces at a time, so the frequency and the amount still equal out to less than two "normal" meals.
jane13 2,256 Posted August 10, 2015 @@dsheive - DH and I eat out a lot and I have to remind myself to not worrying about leaving food. I usually get a doggie bag. Anyways I hate to bag up a bite or two and instead I ate it and found out my "window" was showing full (not cool). It only took doing that twice to realize - STOP! same with drinking while eating. I just don't get a drink at all. I get strange looks, but that "habit" is still there. I will drink coffee before I eat on Sat/Sun - but that the ONLY meal and I don't drink once the food is there. VSGAnn2014 12,992 Posted October 15, 2015 What happen if you drink to soon The liquid in your stomach makes it easier for the food you've just eaten to move from the stomach into your small intestine. Then your stomach's empty again -- (rumble, rumble) -- leaving room for you to put more food in it. Ruh roh!
