BestDayEver 418 Posted August 9, 2015 Went to the grocery store yesterday and was amazed at all the aisles I skipped! Went right past the chips, Cookies, soda and prepackaged meal aisles. What a change in shopping habits and a much lower bill too. I feel a little guilty not buying treats for the rest of my family but they don't really need the junk food anyway. sweetie716 270 Posted August 9, 2015 Grocery shopping is so much faster now. I go around the perimeter of the store- just like all the health food shows have been telling me to do for years!
Healthy_life2 8,324 Posted August 9, 2015 @@BestDayEver It's great to have the family eating healthy with you. I like that the food I buy is fresh, not packaged and still tastes great. Finding wonderful new recipes and foods to try. I have found cooking a joy again.
cat268 26 Posted August 10, 2015 Since my surgery, my husband has decided that he doesn't need the carbs either. He's right, he's mildly diabetic and he doesn't need the carbs and since he does the grocery shopping, he's not even buying bread or potatoes and stuff. Only problem is he's dropping weight faster than I am, lol.
