choosehope 233 Posted August 9, 2015 I know that Sleevers lose the part of their stomach that produced gherlin, therefore reducing appetite. Does the same thing happen to bypass patients?
Djmohr 6,965 Posted August 9, 2015 Bypass patients have a period of time where the hunger hormone is reduced or gone. It does come back. Usually around 6 months to a year post op. I will say that mine is back but it is not a knowing hunger and is easily satiated.
