Deanna66 1 Posted August 8, 2015 Tomorrow 8/8 will be my 3 months and I have only lost 36 pounds. I see where others have lost 50 or more!!
Elode 8,093 Posted August 8, 2015 That's 3 lbs a week average which is pretty dang good! Don't worry about everyone else. We are all different. If you keep that same rate up you would lose over 156 lbs by your 1 year anniversary! See in the grand scheme of things that's a LOT. Not that you need to lose 156lbs and you probably won't even continue to lose 3 lbs a week most will stall ect..l'm just saying your doing wonderful!!!@@Deanna66
Deanna66 1 Posted August 8, 2015 Thank you. I am pleased with what I have lost, was just worried it was not enough. I only had 100 to lose so I guess I am doing good.

I keep telling my self I didn't put in on overnight I'm not gonna lose it overnight I'm steadily losing every week an I'm quite satisfied. Do as the scale keeps going down I'm happy

ProjectMe 909 Posted August 9, 2015 Ugh...as hard as it is...comparing your loss with others will only result in alot of unnecessary anxiety. Not only are our bodies completely different from one another, our wls journeys are unique to the particular individual. When you consider age, sex, surgeon, metabolism, medical histories, genetics, etc...its like comparing apples with oranges. As long as you are following your surgeon's & nutritionist plans...you are doing GREAT!
yankee2gal2@yahoo.com 22 Posted August 9, 2015 Exactly. Follow your doctors orders. Like I have said many times. I didn't put it on over night I'm not going to lose it over night
FitFunFamily 53 Posted August 9, 2015 Also it really depends on the person's starting weight. If someone has 200lbs to lose, they typically lose faster than someone who only has 100lbs lose. BUT, percentage wise, they are on track with each other.
newbeginning77 26 Posted August 10, 2015 Tomorrow 8/8 will be my 3 months and I have only lost 36 pounds. I see where others have lost 50 or more!! I am also 3 mths out and at 30 lbs since surgery .I have always been a slow loser thats why I had the surgery but I didn't count on continuing to lose slow. Some people said I wasn't eating enough and increase calories. So I did and nothing has changed yet.I am worried because I know its only going to get slower.
Countrygrrl 450 Posted August 10, 2015 Lol some months I would loose 2 pounds. Then I would ignore the scale for a while reminding myself stalls are normal. Then I would drop 5 pounds in a week
