Can you travel the same week you get the sleeve?

Asked my doctor he said don't leave the country. But that's it.

Surgery is on Monday I get discharged Tuesday I want to fly somewhere in the us on Thursday...maybe go to Disneyland or something. Haha

But did anyone travel after surgery or do you feel so terrible that we have to be bedridden the whole week?

I had my surgery on Monday and while I certainly haven't been bedridden....traveling is not something I would want to do. My day is spent focusing on getting enough Protein and Water and surprisingly it is a full time job!

Well a lot of people have the surgery out of the country in Mexico or elsewhere and then fly home.

I wouldn't worry about the travel part, but if you plan on sightseeing or whatever you probably won't have the energy for that right away.

I went to Disneyland 2 1/2 weeks out though and had a great time

I was told if traveling by car to get out and walk every 2 hours...danger of clots in the legs. I would just say to move about as much as you can. You may be surprised how quickly you get tired.

I think you could travel. I don't think you will feel like a vacation at that point. Seems like a waste.
