sleeved July 15th, how are you doing? what are you eating

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved July 15th lost 31 lbs to date. Curious as to how everyone else is doing and what are their food choices. I am having hard time with Breakfast and just feel like I'm getting bored because I'm just picking easy food. I need ideas for meals and healthy Snacks. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're ahead of me so you're probably already past this, but I'm doing a shake for Breakfast and lunch, then a small dinner. So far my dinner is a scrambled egg and some veggies. I deliberately chose breakfast as my shake meal because I've never eaten good healthy breakfasts.

banana, Soup, low-fat cheese, couple ounces of no-bean chili mixed with a bit of low-fat cheddar, few slices of lean deli meat, and fairlife milk either hot with sugar-free cocoa mix or cold with sugarfree strawberry Syrup.

Those are the only things I've had over the past month that didn't make me feel sick or doubled over in pain. Even yogurt became really off-putting to me (everything is suddenly too sweet!) Protein shakes make me ill. Even my pain meds make me ill. My sleeve hates almost everything, lol. Down 43 lbs, but it's pretty miserable not being able to eat anything.

I think I'll feel better when I start work and school again (three more days, Jesus!)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
