Does my iPad hate WLS ?

Recommended Posts

It seems that way.

I have zero problems accessing this site from my MacBook or iPhone.........but the iPad goes nuts on here.

Halfway through typing a response it will have an error.....refresh automatically and my response is deleted.

Many other weird issues.

I'm logging into the full site.....not using the app. Perhaps this is the issue??? Full site is fine on my phone and laptop, though.

I used my iPad Air 2 all the time, like now. I have learned to copy and save as I type just for that reason! I HATE that it does that. I can't tell you how many times I have responded with a long post and it erased it, I didn't want to retype it all so I just move on. Maybe @@Alex Brecher knows why this happens?

Happened to me also, just the other day. I responded with a long post, it did something weird and now the only thing the post says is "edit". I have no idea. A while ago I paid to upgrade to the VIP to stop all the ads thinking that that might be the problem but so far I still see ads blinking and flashing, so much for that Idea.

I can't count the number of brilliant, important posts that were eaten by my iPad! :D

No, seriously this is very irritating and I hope there is a solution.

@@Alex Brecher

For me this recently began happening again. The good news is, it is not nearly as bad as it used to be.

Happens all the time to me on my iPhone/iPad. I have tried both Safari and Chrome. I'm just not a fan of the mobile app.

If you're referring to the site literally refreshing out of the blue, with a little notice at the top of the screen - then this is iPad and iPhone specific.

I've got 2 questions to help us make sure we're all talking about the same issue.

1) Does the site refresh out of the blue, with a little notice at the top of the page saying there was a problem with the page?

2) What version of iOS are you using and what browser are you using?

Thanks!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
