Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted August 7, 2015 I went to dinner this evening with family visiting from out of town and wound up sitting next to two cousins and a nephew who were second and fourth graders. I found it very interesting that I ate about the same as the second graders (except they filled up on chips, salsa, and queso before the entree and drank real pop). I even still had leftovers to bring home. This post-surgery life really is amazing.
JamieLogical 8,713 Posted August 7, 2015 My sister and her 4 kids are staying with me. They range in age from 2 to 9. I eat less than the 2 year old for dinner most nights! Last night we had "make-your-own" subs. They all had rolls, deli meat, cheese, onions, avocado, lettuce, Tomato, etc. I just had a little roll-up of a couple slices of deli meat, two slices of cheese, and some mustard. Miss Mac 6,262 Posted August 7, 2015 We had our annual end-of-summer cookout for the family last year and several people commented that I only ate half a burger patty with cheese and a couple of cherry tomatoes. Later I had a sugar free, gluten-free, flavor free, joyless vegan cupcake. Mt pre-school granddaughters ate more than I did.
