KF2007 66 Posted August 6, 2015 My surgeon says i should be drinking more then what I am. Im only 1 day post op and scared to drink too much. My drain site has been leaking too, i sure hope that stops soon as im scheduled to be discharged tomorrow. Fingers crossed and send prayers please! I miss my daughter.... i want to go home. avRose 20 Posted August 7, 2015 At 1 day post op I could barely drink anything because I would get really bad spasming/burping/heartburn. But now I'm on day 3 post op and am able to get almost all 64oz down. You have to push yourself and keep sipping - for me, the more I sipped (even though it hurt) the better I ultimately felt.
