kayjaywlj 3 Posted August 6, 2015 Hello all Today was my first visit with my surgeon . So I'm at the beginning stage of my journey. I'm excited and nervous at the same time . I have battled with my weight for the last 10 years and beginning to get progressively worst . As a mother of five I want be around for my children . Aside from being morbidly obese I really don't have any other health issues. I joking call myself the healthiest fat chick I know. I researched this for over a year . I have decided on going with the sleeve as it's better for me and my lifestyle. I am comfortable with my surgeon and his stats. The office staff was very friendly. The host of other doctors is going to be a killer for me because I'm trying to get as much done before September when I go back to work .( I'm a teacher) My insurance company requires 4 month weight loss program which is not as bad as I initially thought considering I only have three more to go . Also my dr said we are looking at a possible date in December which works great for me. Around the break so I don't miss any time from work
