Any advice for "itchy" incisions?

1 week out and I'm healing beautifully but my incisions are a bit itchy...any suggestions?

I had the same problem, but my Dr told me not to put anything on them to stop the itching so I kind of just had to scratch around them :/

I put some hydrocortisone cream AROUND the incision....it was a nice relief!

This may sound weird, but... try gently "tapping" on them instead of scratching. It's a trick people use with new tattoos that are healing. Helps relieve some of the itch without doing damage.

I was given Benadyl for itching. Oral. It really helped. But it makes me sleepy!

Benadryl for sure! They have a non drowsy version out there too now.

I used an ice pack to numb the itching. Now I am using a cocoa butter stick to keep the areas between incisions moisturized. Last resort is Benadryl at bed time so I can get to sleep without itching all night

I rub lightly or tap on my incisions and gently scratch around them. It seems to help me.
