ChangingJustForMe 14 Posted August 22, 2015 I'll keep you in my prayers as well! I just got the call with my check in time- 7:15am. Surgery is at 10:15. You mentioned you work 12 hours- what type of work do you do? I'm a nurse. I work an 8 hour evening shift now and when I return, I'll be on 12 shifts when I return. I will be off 4 weeks, which will be good to help me get in a routine with exercise and my meals.I'm a respiratory therapist. And my plan is to be off work 6 weeks because of the weight restriction. My surgey is scheduled for 10am and check in is at 8.

ChangingJustForMe 14 Posted August 22, 2015 @@ABetterMe1210 because of the 20pd weight limit for the first 4 weeks, I'm not able to go back. How have you been doing since your surgery? Are you feeling ok to go back to work this soon? Do you sit at a desk or walk and stand on your job? Praying for a speedy recovery for you.

I'm feeling pretty good, thank God, the only thing is my incisions are very itchy and I've been craving a lot of things I normally don't eat, smh! Other than that I'm ready to go back plus I've been walking a lot so that helped. Praying that everything work out for you, God Bless..
