You will have to give me an update on them after you try one. I would have to add some garlic and cheese to that! It's not suppose to be Sweet is it?

Hisbrowneyedgirl 175 Posted August 7, 2015 @@Hisbrowneyedgirl I'm going to have to try that. I could probably put my cream cheese and smoked salmon on that.I used wax paper between them and put them in a Ziploc one cooled. Now they are REALLY soft. I think I am going to leave the bag open. I did toasted one today for Breakfast with an egg. Not bad:23 calories .5 carbs 1.5 fat 2.3 Protein
Elode 8,093 Posted August 7, 2015 @@Hisbrowneyedgirl It will be even better once you add that cheese and garlic!! And if you were going to do tuna salad you could add obay seasoning to the bread!

mommyfrog3 41 Posted August 7, 2015 @Elode...thanks for the pancake recipe. I haven't been sleeved yet but I'm making a recipe book for myself afterwards. They look so yummy! Did I read somewhere in this thread that you didn't change your habits until after the surgery? If so how did that work for you? I'm thinking of doing this. It would probably be the best choice for me.
Elode 8,093 Posted August 7, 2015 Turned out delicious!! I added a bit of vanilla to it. Mine doesn't look as pretty (told you I was not a patient person!) I flipped before I should have as if that was going to speed up the process.. Anyway I added a handful of the fresh blueberries the kids and I picked a couple weeks ago. Wonderful!! If I had any Splenda brown sugar I would have added a touch of that. Next time. Update; of course that was way too much for just myself so next time I will cut the recipe in half. judyoz 240 Posted August 7, 2015 Made that bread a couple of weeks ago. I tasted alot like egg. Not bread.
Elode 8,093 Posted August 7, 2015 @@mommyfrog3 No I didn't, I ate whatever I wanted (up until the two week pre-op diet) my situation was a bit different that I COULDN'T lose any weight during my 3 month diet program, I would have been disqualified if I had due to my BMI being below 40, I don't have any other health issues so keeping a 40 was vital for me to get approved, I actually had to gain 8 lbs. I know crazy but I did whatever it took. After going on the two week liquid diet (which I'm proud to say I never, ever cheated on!) and having the surgery itself it made changing easy for me after surgery. I didn't have a choice and on top of that I didn't have any hunger for a good 4 months and sometimes not even now. Take for instance that breakfast I ate the one piece of turkey bacon (that was one cut in half) and barely half of that pancake and I'm stuffed! I normally don't eat in the mornings I usually have a shake because my sleeve is so tight in the morning. We're all different, I think my sleeve is pretty small though. I love it!!! Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted August 7, 2015 The pancake recipe has the ingredients but it doesn't say what to do. How do you fry cream cheese? I think I'm missing part of the recipe.
Elode 8,093 Posted August 7, 2015 @@Oregondaisy Ha! Yes, thanks for pointing that out. I was in such a hurry to change the subject on the thread that I left a vital part out. I added it now!
