mmyers1962 48 Posted August 4, 2015 After successfully negotiating Phase1, and implementing phase 2.... My surgeon said I could start working in pureed meats/veggies in prep for phase 3 this friday.... Woohoo Who knew that a jar of baby food (phase 2) HAM and sweet potatoes would take 30 minutes to eat, and taste like a FEAST!!

JamieLogical 8,710 Posted August 4, 2015 Ick! Glad my post-op plan didn't include baby food! But glad you are doing well and moving onto your next phase. Stick to your plan and you will be eating two to three bites of solid food in no time!
OKCPirate 5,323 Posted August 4, 2015 To each their own, I'm glad I researched my mush menu before surgery and avoided baby food jars. But take your time and learn your body's new signals about fullness. Respect the sleeve.
mmyers1962 48 Posted August 4, 2015 I appreciate the simplicity.... One jar, 2oz. Protein.... At this point in the game.... KISS. I don't want to subconsciously undermine my goal!!
