F4T-TRAP 37 Posted August 3, 2015 Weight loss is definitely slowing down from the first 2 months (I'm a little over 3 months post-op), but I'll take it. Down exactly 75lbs as of this morning. I'm only weighing myself once a week because I don't like seeing the scale fluctuate (well, going up) throughout the week when I weighed in every day. Come Monday mornings, I'm super anxious to get on the scale at 6:00AM, but am always happy to see it trending down. I've also noticed I seem to be able to eat much more, but I've been told since I'm much more active now (strength training + cardio nearly 5+/week) that it's okay to eat a little bit more to keep my energy up. Decided to treat myself with the Whispbar rails and a Yakima roof rack for my bike since I'm riding it again. Can't wait for it to arrive so I can install it and try it out. James Marusek 5,244 Posted August 3, 2015 The Protein requirement is the sum of the Protein you get from meals combined with the protein from supplements. As my meal volume increased, I was able to derive more protein from my meals and as a result reduce my protein supplements (Protein shakes, protein bars). The supplements have calories. In my case dropping some of my supplements (while still meeting the protein requirements) meant less calories and the weight loss picked up again.
