JamieLogical 8,727 Posted August 3, 2015 @jamielogical Understand your point, but realize your experience does not make an experienced, trained professional a "big fat liar". I was saying that in a joking tone. I wasn't trying to be insulting to your surgeon or any surgeon. But I think if you took a poll of people on this site who are approaching a year or more post-op. 99.9999% of them will tell you they've experienced hunger in the first year. My surgeon certainly never made any kind of claim about not feeling ANY hunger for a full year.
terrip57 0 Posted August 3, 2015 I am 5 years out of my gastric sleeve and have not felt hungry one day since I had it, but here lately it seems I can eat al little more and I actually have a feeling of hunger was just wondering if this is normal or if I am eating to much at one time or to many times a day. Has anyone else had this experience?
mmwishart 41 Posted August 3, 2015 I am 2 months out. I get hungry at times when it is normal to be hungry. I eat Breakfast around 6:00 am. At noontime I am hungry. I eat an afternoon snack, and I'm hungry at dinner time.

jane13 2,256 Posted August 3, 2015 @@khaled - I think I mentioned all of this earlier except for the PPI. I can only suggest you call your NUT.
newbeginnings1965 48 Posted August 15, 2015 18 days out and i do feel real hunger, especially in the morning. The good news is that very little ends the hunger. If i have 1 egg scrambled i am full. In the past it would have been 2 eggs with cheese, toast and hashbrowns.
