I make home made creamy lentil Soup, leek and potato soup, creamy broccoli and cheese soup, creamy veggie soup....might be easy to purchase a soup maker or cook each dish then blend in a nutribullet...hope it helps

Do you like Tomato Soup? Because I loved Tomato bisque during my liquid phase. Any bisque, really. Lobster bisque is really good, too. If you go to some of the higher end grocery stores, you can find some really good Soups in their deli's. I tried to stay away from the canned stuff and stuck to the homemade or deli soups just to get better taste and a little less sodium.

I have tried cream of chicken Soup the last three days. I love the taste, but my tummy doesn't. Cramps after eating a couple spoonfuls. Even tried lactose pill with it. Anyone else experience this and does it eventually go away? Really tired of Clear Liquids

Pacific organic Roasted red pepper and Tomato Soup and Imagine Portobello Mushroom Soup. Both are in a box and they are great. Mix in some plain Fage Greek yogurt for extra Protein. Great stuff.

I live off of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup for months post op, it's one of the few things Frankensleeve would tolerate. I liked the flavor and it went down very easy. If you try it, be sure and get the cans with the pull-top. It's a bear to find a can opener at work! :-P

I've been loving Progresso Light Creamy Potato with Bacon & cheese. I just strain out the chunks and add some pepper. It's really good!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
