I have not tried real pizza, but I make my own on low carb flat out bread. Sometimes I have 1 oz of the barilla Protein Pasta.< /p>

You can eat both pizza and spaghetti again- you really shouldn't, lol, but you can. I had about half a piece a few weeks ago and roughly half a piece a few months ago, but mostly I've stayed away from pizza. I have had Pasta a few times, but it doesn't usually go over very well on my stomach and I don't like it enough to eat it and get sick.

I had pizza, but I no longer find heavy breads satisfying. Halfway through the slice I ended up just eating the toppings off.

I found a noodle made from mung Beans at whole foods. It cooks up with a similar bite as regular Pasta, but is loaded with Protein. I think 2 ounces has close to 30grams of protein. I don't have it often because it's a little carb heavy.

I can't tolerate pizza, but like someone else said I do a low carb torilla pizza that I find very satisfying.

I also swaped Pasta for zucchini spageti made with the vegeti. Saute it in the sauce of your choice and it tastes enough like Pasta for me. They have other alternatives like edmane pasta, bean pastas. I had a few bites of pasta at a party, I do have to be careful as it is a trigger food for me

I'm 3 months out and almost finished a tostoda? Did not feel good. Fast food doesn't agree. I have no idea how many ounces it was, but the sodium in fast food is horrible.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
