Thinside 155 Posted August 3, 2015 Mine is Aug. 5th too. My doctor doesn't require a liquid pre-op diet, just low-cal. Getting a little nervous and excited too. I've ordered my powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury, and am going shopping for food for the liquid diet tomorrow. (I'll be on 9 days of liquids, then 2 weeks of pureed food.) What are you doing to prepare?

smallbmi 41 Posted August 6, 2015 Today it happened ! There was 4 or 5 of us having it done ! I traced by myself to Mexico, and have quickly Made friends with others , I don't feel lonely what so ever. This morning we took our shuttle to the OCC and each of visited the nutritionist, cardiologist and the doctors Then once done appointments we got into our rooms where the nurse came and put in out I V and gave us us something that made me sleepy as I was spelling in out before the operating room . I woke up briefly in the recovery room and then again once I was back in my hospital bed. I had to use the bathroom in about 45 minutes it seemed and the lovely guy nurse helped me get into pj bottoms and walked with me to and from the bathroom ( he waited outside) since then I have eating ice chips and sipping on Water and a bit of Luke warm tea! Also the OCC has Netflix to watch if you don't want to watch tv ! I don't have complaints about the care give. Here whatsoever ! Everyone speaks good English and has been very attentive.. My new tummy is always making noise and really dislikes what happened to it , but I have zero gas pains today nor did I have a drain from what I can see. The other soreness is my throat where the incubation obviously was And that's about it . Sounds like my story is a standard textbook scenario So that's it folks loved the occ and would recommend it to anyone
